Justine Stevenson arrived “On The Banks” in September 2018 from Fordham, where she had worked closely with the Rams’ women’s basketball, which appeared in three WNIT postseason tournaments, since August of 2014. She also was the assistant Athletic Trainer for Football program.
Prior to her stint with Fordham, Stevenson worked with the women’s basketball team at St. Francis College in Brooklyn as an assistant athletic trainer.
A former student-athlete, Stevenson was a member of the LIU-Brooklyn women’s basketball team and following her playing days, she served as a volunteer assistant coach during the 2011-12 campaign. As an assistant coach, she assisted with day-to-day practice, equipment management, film exchange, recruiting and team travel.
Stevenson was awarded the LIU-Brooklyn Graduate Award for Clinical Excellence in 2012. She was a member of two Honor Societies, Alpha Eta Honor Society for the School of Health Professions, as well as the Iota Tau Alpha (Beta Nu Chapter) Athletic Training Honor Society.
A 2012 Cum Laude graduate of LIU-Brooklyn, Stevenson earned both a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in athletic training.
The Jackson, New Jersey native holds a Board of Certification for Athletic Training, as well as a CPR/AED certification for the professional rescuer.
